It's called controlled journalism...and it's sickening.
Basically the American media (especially the mass media: cable/network news outlets, and all other media available to virtually EVERYONE) and all of its reports about our government, is being controlled by the government. This does two things:
1. It keeps the fingers from being pointed at those responsible for things such as unnecessary war (and the fact that we've been LIED TO by the government)...and
2. It keeps the general public from knowing about what's REALLY going on. As we all know, knowledge is power. If the general public knows about wrongdoings in Washington, we will actually have a voice in what we want from them.....of course, this administration CERTAINLY would oppose that. So in turn, we (the general public) are forced to kept in the dark about those wrongdoings.
It's the beginning stages of dictatorship, and we should all fear for our lives....you see that nothing is being done about this Social Security situation, right?
For those lazy-eyed folk who didn't wanna read all of the above, here's a "cliffs-notes" version:
Turn your TV to a major news outlet (ABC, CBS, NBC are broadcast all over the country....CNN, Faux News, MSNBC, & **** are all cable: everyone DOES NOT have cable).
ABC, CBS, and NBC are all fixated with the Jackson trial, the missing (and supposedly now-**** teenager, and Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie)....NOT THIS STORY. Since you dont see it from major news outlets, you're kept in the dark about what the fukk is really going on.
Ok, some of yall want to say we were lied to and so forth....well duh. Think about it, if we knew half......no 1/10 of the sh*t that's out there Americans would loose their mind. I know cause my sister is in the military stationed in El Paso, Texas and she told me. It is some stuff that they can't tell us.
If u knew Sadaam or whatever said he already had weapons of mass destruction pointed exactly at *your house* would u really just all calm sitting there? Fukk no, u and your neighbors and your cities would freak. The government can't and shouldn't tell u most of the stuff that is going on, and that's the bottom line so get over this "he lied, he lied, boo hoo, hoo" type sh*t
I am tired of people getting upset because the government lied to us about sh*t, it ain't our business to know! So yeah the government makes some decision that seem dumb to us but if u knew all the factors involved (which the public will never know) u wouldn't be so upset :???:

to really get the news, you have to listen to talk radio...wether it's conservative talk or liberal talk radio....otherwise, all you're getting is soundbites and little snippets of the news...they'll only give you what they think is gonna keep their ratings...
you'll only get snippets watching the news...
