Do you think we should get reperations as a black society and if we were given the chance what would you do ?For example If you were given the option for a reparation of slavery, and the reparation was a trip back to Africa, would you take it? or would you stay in America?

the US govt gave reps to some displaced **** who encountered racism during WW2...the us govt & eurpean govts gave reps to the jews (i love jews)...7 million ****...
at least 25 million blacks died crossing the sea from africa to america...at least 5,000 blacks were lynched here in america....and that's only the one's that were recorded in history...
not to mention we had the system set up against us up untilt he 60s so we couldn't better ourselves...
the govt is partaillly repsoncible for the condition that our race is in today...and that includes all the socialism and welfare...
if i ran things, ALL BLACKS would get a partial scholarship to the college that they get accepted into...get rid of affirmative action in schoolsc ect ect...just give us like a 25% scholarship...just for being balck and for the HELL that they put our ancestor's through...

But personally I couldnt go LIVE in Africa ... dont get me wrong its a nice place and everything but its not for me personally I have alot of friends who are from Africa and alot of them are so thankful to be in America its crazy ! It makes me feel like I should have more appreciation ... Last week during prayer before class started the teacher had everyone list one think they were thankful for and all of the African students said that they were thankful to be in AMERICA and I was like "wow" but yeah Africa wouldnt be the place for Me to live personally. =/

The problem is there will be a lot of white people claiming they are black suddenly, and I wouldn't think it was fair for immigrants to be able to claim the financial reparations.
College scholarships sounds is a good idea, but it would only serve to dumb down the already watered down curricula in college. We should pressure for community redevelopment, workforce training, AND scholarships. Those who can't/won't go to college will still be able to get a living wage job at the local warehouse, or be trained as a skilled laborer/artisan.

I cosign with that. One thing that I wouldn't want to see from reperations is money distributed. I would rather see more opportunities opened up for us like all those listed above.
