One quick point to those that are aspiring to be on this side of the house, don't let the organization define you; you define the organization. If someone tells you that something that you do is not XYZ and you're in XYZ org, then what you do is what XYZ does. For example, someone told me that fitted shirts and jeans and some Aldo shoes wasn't Omega, I looked at them and said that I am an Omega and whatever I do, the Omega's do. Apply that to your everyday life. Whatever you do represents all of African American society whether or not you know it. As I stated earlier, Greek life is just a microcosm of reality and a brief glimpse into our culture as people of color.
