Is College Hill a real example of college life, or is it overrated?

I also think it would have been better if they focused more on college life. It seem like the whole show as filmed in their dorm are every place in Baton Rouge except Southern campus (which should have been one of the main location, besides the dorm). I think the show should have been a full hour and they should have focused on all the members of the cast. Nina, the band dude, Kevin, and the rich girl (can't really remeber their names) weren't given enough air time. They never showed them going to any classes (unless I missed that episode), and almost didn't mention grades. What kind of reality show was this? They are dealing with college students they barely discussed grades, be real. I think the concept was great but they need to up their game on the filming and story lines for the episodes. But I think next season will be alot better. By the way, anyone know where they will be filming the next season?

I think College Hill showed a few of the personalities you will run into as an HBCU, don't fake yall all know some campus hoes, freshmen finding themselves, nerds, jocks, cool big dudes, rich girls, frat boys, etc. Come on now, let's be real and come off of our High Horses. It may hurt to watch but I think College Hill portrayed some aspects of college from an African American perspective. Just like any other reality tv show they had to hype things up a bit just like any other reality tv show. I do think they could have elaborated on class, the yard, and other things that are encompassed in HBCU life. I think that in general the portrayal was about right.

College Hill was boring, but SU isn't all that exciting anyway. They didn't show them around school or in class much, because they kept them a secret & kept them hidden most of the time!

^^^ I guess that's why we didn't get to see them outside the house that much.
