I know yall heard about that J. L. King book. I seen him on Oprah the other day and I was in shock. Being on the DL is wrong. The fact that many of them may not use protection is sickening. They obviously have no regard for their girlfriends and wives. No wonder African American women are the highest group of new **** cases!

Speaking of the DL here are pics from the Florida Down Low Brotha Fest 2005...This is real
OMG! This definitely SHOCKING! You see, this goes to show you that you don't know who's on the DL. These men are masculine, good-looking everyday men who no one would suspect was living on the DL! What is the world coming to? :x ](*,) #-o :smt090

I cosign on that for the most part. But, there are guys who are actually straight who act a little feminine.
I don't know girl, it depends on what you mean by feminine.

I'm waiting for someone to come on the board like, Oh my God that's my boyfriend Ricky in the red shorts!
 I really don't know what to think about this. It's crazy I just got off the phone talking to my friend and she a counselor at this camp, right. She told me about this lil dude there that act just straight femine. He was talking about how he wanted to be a model -like a girl-. Then she was tellin me how he dance like a ballerina. And when she told me about how he played his gameboy a lot I was like, well maybe he's not THAT femine. Then she told me that his favorite game was.....Princess diaries and cinderella...I was ROLLIN  ... As far as I'm concerned I'm secure, so I don't care what someone would think of me. But um, that's scary right there tho.

I think Mr. King just wants all women to be paranoid. We will end up rejecting men for no reason. We will think all guys are suspicious and have tendencies. Eventually he will have more men to choose from, and to expose to the DL life!! LOL
funny part is..i SO believe that. I read the book this summer and at the end of it all i was left with "ok...now what? :???:". The purpose of the book was to inform and to help Black women to avoid DL men...but there is no way to avoid the. If a man is on the DL, he isn't going to TELL U. That defeats the whole dern purpose of being on the "down low". There is no way u can know. So all that book did was makes thousands of women paranoid and questioning every single Black man that came their way. Then alot of us are just gonna end up single, lonely, and runnin men away. While the "DL" men get to keep all of them for themselves lol.
