she might be referring to the point made that when we die and IF we are one of the chosen 2 go to Heaven, we will be given new bodies, and you might not recognize your mom if both of you ended up there.

lol it took 6 years of Baptist elementary school and 4 years of Catholic high school to teach me stuff like that- but check out Revelations, youll find tons of information on the afterlife there.
^^^ aaside from all that...the reason i said u should go read ur bible again cause you said no one is promised heaven...but John 3:16 clearly says " All those who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. " We know Christ died for our salvation, and if we believe in the trinity and accept Him into our hearts, and strive to follow His word, even when we fall, we will have everlasting life with Him...cause God knows our hearts and intentions, because He did create us so he knows we are human and will give into the flesh at times. But like I said, if you are making an honest effort to consciously live right and have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior then I wouldnt worry about not getting into heaven.
