A question for the GREEKS...

Well I specifically didnt ask about anyones process cause its not my business to know all that, and apparently people feel it isnt my place to ask what their personal standards are. And thats fine... But speaking for myself personally, and referring to my OES experience, and this is applied to anything I would do...Without getting into specifics of what I wouldnt do, the way I feel about myself and the way my mother raised me to carry myself is that i am a WOMAN...before im an Eastern Star or anything else I may ever join in the future. I am a woman, and I wont allow anyone or anything to strip me of feeling less of that at any time. If I felt that anytime during my process I felt like I was less of a woman or person, I wouldnt have continued it because my self dignity and self respect is more important to me than any letters Ill ever wear on my chest. Now does that mean I wont allow myself to be tested in a number of ways in a process, or go thru a trying period thru out the process. Absolutely not. But it does mean Im not going to subject my self worth and self dignity to join an organization... But thats me of course. And for the record, im not implying anyone subjected themselves to anything during their personal process, I was just curious to hear peoples thoughts on it and through the question out there...thats all

Asking about personal standards is fine. But you may not get responses when you ask about them in relation to a process. Most Greeks are taught to not discuss their process in part or in whole. Perhaps you should log into GP and post this in the OES section and consult folks in the Order who are members of GLO's. Thank you Being that you share an affiliation with them you'd probably garner more of the responses that you are looking for as most Greek who've had any semblance of a process won't respond in open forum.

Absolutely...and Im not in NO WAY implying that. What made me ask the question was cause alotta people say they not gonna do this or that online...and I was just curious as to how Greeks personally felt since they been there and did that. It wasnt to make implications on anyone or their process or org.
