Okay what i don't get is why do men try to impress some ladies by playing a lot of rap music on a date? Should a male play music such as Musiq, Floetry, and Jaheim or 50, diplomats, Nas on the first date?

ok...the music is what's gonna help set ya mood. If ur in the car talkin up good convo then playin lightly in the background u need some R&B. If ur goin some distance and away laugh and have some fun something more hype is good, and once u hit the club "Get Low..."

Like already stated .. It depends on the mood .. cuz I wouldnt wanna be kissin to "Get down on tha floor like a ****" .. u know .. u need to just be aware of ur surroundings .. from there .. everything will flow ..

Any of Brian Mcknight songs would do just fine for me and my lady. And if i am in the mood (or if she like) ill sing my favorite song Genuwine's "So Anxious" for her.

Even though I like Ludacris and Nelly and Nas, I would most likely go with smmoth R&B because that is what I listen to all the time. Stuff like 112, Musiq Soul Child, Case, Joe, Dru Hill, Usher, etc. Now if it is a date that I want to get my freak on... I'll have an R. Kelly Marathon

I am a proud voter for rap, particularly "Gangsta rap" like the "I'MA KICK YO DIC IN AND FEED IT TO YA MAMMA/I'M FROM THA WEST SIDE SOE HOLLA" kind because, well, I like ruff necks... Screw a perm fade brotha who sings like Jahiem/Give me Rasheed from cell block 93...

See if you in your ride you gotta have a CD changer at least a six disc. Then you can have a lil R&B and rap, to really outdo yourself you should have some jazz to. For exmplae in ym disc changer I got jay Z, nas, some norman brown(for thise that dont know jazz artist), mary J blige(the first CD) and musiq. So whatever mood Im in or my female companion is in then I got the music there. When she first gets in the car, I will have the jazz cd playing, them she'll be like damn this brotha is cultured. A brotha with variety, not just ur average brotha. AIght thats it im not telling no more, cant give away all the secrets...HOLLA
