University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill They lead the nation in # of black faculty at a National Tier I University, and are ranked #5 among public universities. They have nearly 3000 black students. As a matter of fact, they get so many applications from black students, they rarely award minority scholarships on the graduate or undergraduate level. Their black alumni include: Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Marion Jones, Stuart Scott, and Lawrence Taylor among others.

That is true. My cos applied to UNC for this fall and they barely gave her any grants or scholarships. Duke gave her more so shes going down the street to the school. I still feel that she could have applied too hampton or howard for pre law and get a full scholarship but hey... she likes the pwi.

Yeah **** doesn't it? I'd name more, but most people have probably never heard of them. But don't let a UNC student hear that. . they are completely convinced that they are going to rule the world some day. But oh yeah, Kwame from the original Apprentice is a graduate too. And I believe Star Jones' husband, Al Reynolds got his MBA from there.
