Well it's been a hot min. since my last post, I must say that is primarily because, being a senior triple major is not easy. Well for those of you who don't know I will be a married man in March. My wife-2-be and I will be residing in a near by town. What to decide my friends................I want to go ahead and build a house, she wnts to stay in an apartment for a couple of years.........I know you are saying that's only one thing, but to me it's a huge thing.....any advice I should add to my post that upon college graduation I will get in excess of $400,000

Building a house?! HAHAHAHAHA! Bro...I have 4 years experience with the carpenter's union and I wouldn't be able to build a house, or even get all the necessary utilities and property for 400,000. Wait till you see how much wood costs independantly. Just buy one.
That's because you live in a unionized state. In North Carolina, you can build a very, very nice house for around 175,000. If you contract it yourself, you can save a good 25,000. And to own your own home right after college without having a mortgage is a blessing from heaven. This one is in Highpoint and it's only listing at $155,000. Contact your local Centex rep.
