JoePa honored again: Peers name Paterno coach of the year for fifth time I don't know ****about sports but that headline caught my eye after reading this thread. "Everyone knows how some women flock and throw themselves onto athletes" ... apparently everybody doesn't include ambiguously female cyberlames. "Self Control"? ChangePlease's utter lack of control is the only thing that marks her as male! NOW's stance ("How dare he talk about a **** and, in the same breath, imply that lying **** exist and they target athletes!") is a bit radical. I try to understand the perspectives of others, but this is ridiculous to me. You can never warn young men enough. Would you prefer, "Look out. Some girls have devious motives, but certainly not all of them?" We're dealing with **** young men here. The warnings will not really work, but half-assed hints like that are impotent. Men need simple rules with absolutes. How are the women being warned? "All men are dogs." Well, that's not very fair to the many good among us, is it? Restricted freedom for increased security, if you will? :???: When my uncle was an R.A. at KU it happened to one of his guys. The girl made up some story cuz the guy didn't like her. My uncle was a witness... he was trustworthy, yet the (female) R.D. took the girl's story over his and everyone else's in the dorm room during the "incident". Things between him and the R.D. were **** from then on. I'd like to think I'm smart enough not to get a girl pregnant or get caught with a trifling chick anywhere near my door, but a sucker is born every second. Men will never have this "self control," and women will always take advantage of this deficiency. The circle of life, Change. Let's not pretend that women are too naive for this. If you refuse to accept both ends of the seesaw, "you're just being biased and inconsiderate." If a guy's guilt is proven, he should be punished. If it can be confirmed that the girl is the liar, she deserves to get whatever punishment her **** was looking forward to!

^^^....If you wanna phrase it like that, then yes. I mean, women are emotional, but does that make them crazy and unstable? I think the real problem is that the court automatically takes the woman's side in an incident like this. It's like up to the defendant to prove he's innocent. I think that's stupid, in the light that if she willingly did it, then there goes your DNA evidence. People in general lack self control, it's a fact of life. The burden of truth, or responsibility shouldn't be completely on men.
