Could ya'll tell me a lil more info about the dorms on campus? I know Freshmen stay in, I think HH, Abbey and LL2?? Is that right? I'm sending off my deposit and am curious about which dorm is the best living-wise. Are they getting renovated soon?

Look under current students. Click on the housing and residential life, then class of 2010 housing application is on the right side. just click the link. i tried typing it and it did not work either. I meet the Honors requirements for Spelman but I haven't heard anything either. If anyone has any info on the flag team for Morehouse...that would be super. The website for the band is notttttttt updated. THANKS MOCHABONNIE FOR THE REAL INFO!! Is anyone singing or anything at Spelbound?

Thanks so much! The housing app says that in order to apply for housing, you must have the $300 enrollment fee in already. (“Students must have paid the $300 enrollment fee to apply for housing.”) I’m trying to figure out if this means they have to have you in the system as a confirmed, fall 2006 student before you actually apply? I just received my acceptance on Monday and I’m sending it out the enrollment info this week. I’m going to call to see if I need to wait a week or so, so that they have to time to process my info. Does anyone know? ~Michelle “The Class of 2010 Housing Application” link is second from the bottom on right hand list. http://spelman.edu/students/current/housing/ Edited: I just realized that LL1 is no longer a honors student-only dorm. Originally I said I would rank it as my last choice because I wasn't in the honors college.

I just got my letter through UPS about being in the Honors program? Has anyone else gotten in? Is an honors college THAT big of a difference? Just curious, lol.

Congratulations about the honors program thing! I haven't received any info about it yet. But um, are you going to Spelbound? Oh and thanks for the HOUSING link. I haven't paid my deposit yet. I was going to pay for it when I go for Spelbound but I thought I would have received a financial aid notice from all my prospective colleges by now so I could compare and i haven't,.....

Yeah...I'll be there. The honors kids come a day early....I'll look for you or would you like to meet up for the connection thing in the morning? I hate going somewhere and not knowing anyone!!

I'm in theHonors Program and there really isn't that much of a difference. But more than likely while your friends are just chillin freshman year you will be working just a little harder. You have to take Honors English, math, Philosophy and 2 honors electives as well as senior year you will have to write a senior thesis regardless of your major. Benefits: You can overload for free and that's about it lol

Cuz some people do casual all the time, but i dress up? It may seem silly, but i'm all about first impressions. i don't wanna bring like 50 bags of clothes but then don't wanna be under dressed.
