Encouragment and Discouragment

If this is out of line please let me know... I am doing a paper on Black Greek Letter Organizations.. and yes i've used google.. But my main question is what do you all think Encourages people and discourages people from joining a Black Greek Letter Organization. I am not a prospect and don't plan to become one but the information you all can give me is going to have a great impact on my paper.. I have asked around, and i have heard more of the reasons WHY people join them but none of the reasons why people don't , i'd be very grateful if you all could help.. Thanks Daya :grin:

African American Fraternities And Sororities: The Legacy And The Vision (Hardcover) by Tamara L. Brown (Editor), Gregory S. Parks (Editor), Clarenda M. Phillips (Editor) Actually I recommend this book to anyone involved with or interested in African American Fraternties and Sororities. I liked this book more than Divine Nine and Black Greek 101.

sweety, you said yourself that you are not interested in joining a BGLO. So just apply that question to yourself. Why would you not want to join? More than likely, your answer is the same one that another person would give.
