Well i just wanted to make a post to make all of you aware that the Devil is using artists and popular music to get into the minds of the youth of this generation. Take the famous rap band Three 6 Mafia. Well anyone who has read a little bit of the Bible knows the tripple 6 is the Devil's number. We all know their hit "Stay Fly." I always felt something was demonic about this song, but my friends all told me I was just being silly. You be the judge and take a closer listen. The woman who begins the song is clearly sayin "You are God, You are king." I cant really make out her last phrase, but before juicy J's verse you can her him say "Lucifar." This some crazy sh*t I tell you! If you think I'm making this up you can take a listen for yourself. And what are the odds of a rap group performing in front of millions of white people at the Oscars? That is nothing but the Devil. What do you guys think?

Music doesn't have to directly 'worship satan' to be controlled by him. As much as we would like to think, we're constantly always being driven by something. We don't just do something or think something without that thought or action having a source. Within the spiritual realms of things there are only two sources: God and Satan. In the end, our lifestyle can only be driven by one so now the question is to the music I listen to, the movies I watch, and the television I watch, is my purpose or is the purpose of those things driven by God, or by Satan. One or the either.
I do believe that a lot mainstream music affects the masses today when people don't even notice it. Just try abstaining from it for a few weeks and see how different your mindset is.

I've never heard about that band, however I'd like to listen to that song to make my own decision about it.
I'm not saying that the music is, or is not the devil. However, remember two things:
the world is Satans domain. He's been roaming around here since he got kicked out. He's trying to trip you up in music, friends, mind games, whatever...
He was a musician of musicians, so he's good at using it.
That's a given. God uses things. Satan uses things, what is used, how and what effect it has on you, what you gravitate toward depends on YOUR heart.
Um, let me get Biblical for a ****. All of these things are under your feet.
Well, not as simple as it sounds. I'm not good enough to get into the complexity of that simple statement in a blog, but there is nothing that Satan can use against you, music, people, situations, that you don't have authority over. Music is a form of expression. An artist is expressing what is inside. If you aren't ready or interested in what is being expressed, then stay away.
But when we stereotype music in general, all of it isn't the devil, some of it is just that we are HUMAN and everything we think, feel, and express isn't about God simply because we live on THIS earth. We think things that are inappropriate, devious, etc. cause it's a reflection of our own personal experiece.
So to your question, my thoughts. I think the Devil works through a lot of things, so you better know who you are and Who's you are. Know what you stand for and what you won't stand for and stick with it. That is more key than where the attack is coming from on a particular day. That is the root, music and being swayed by it is a symptom of a deeper issue.
