I think weaves are fine as long as they not ghetto lookin, and look somewhat natural. To keep it real wit yall, I know girls who are basically baldheaded and they put a nice weave in they head and it made WONDERS. I MEAN WONDERS :!: :!: :!: Thats all jokes aside. They just look nice overall with their hair done even if its not theirs. And F*CK that sh*t on keeping your hair natural. There are very few women I know whos hair is natural and it looks very nice. I'm gonna keep getting my relaxers and touch ups, cause Lord knows my head would look a hot mess if I didnt keep chemicals in it. But hey, thats just me.
ok..i'm all for the natural look and all that....but when its time to get dressed up (example..prom or wedding) you want something that will lay down or fall just right...you dont want no afro! now you can say that you want all black women to be natural and blah blah blah....but these redbones you're talking about that you seem to love so much seem more to me of being white...because even my mixed friends have trouble with their hair...so the only women left that can get up and go without any type of mantenance are white girls. and the black girls that you see, in the area that you live in that have perms where they're hair is slicked back....seems like someone messed up...so blame it on the stylist. now me personally..i like to see my AFRICAN AMERICAN SISTAHS looking pull together and taking on the world with their hair held high because they know they look good...and to me : if you feel good about yourself...thats all that matters. regardless of how other people think of you...including you MR. CALIFORNIA~ because i'm pretty sure you wouldn't alter yourself for a female.
Oh yeah, since we talking about fake hair, what do yall think of fake nails :?: :?: :?: I have acrylic tips and I get my nails done faithfully every 2 weeks, along with my pedicure, and getting my eyebrows waxed. I will say I do put out a lot of money on my hair and nails and eyebrows and toes, but Im willing to pay the price to have everything on the outside looking nice. My mom thinks I should only put out to make sure my hair looks good. She thinks everything else is a waste. But I think the entire package is important. And I am so not a superficial person, its just one of those things that are important to me, and because it is I am willing to make the necessary financial sacrifices, to look good on the outside.

sorry about my posts about you are nobody to me. but you keep saying that the males wouldn't like the weaves and perms. r u a male? if not then why are you so agitated about this? i'm pretty sure most guys (not all) would rather have a female with hair he can run fingers thru. yeah some of yall got that good negroe hair where they can still run their fingers thru it. But sh*t, a nig like me can't go around ****. i got that $2 ****, been workin in the fields, and had a drink of water all day hair.
