i mean, yea. it's not easy but once i read it she's saying something.hell you got further than I did ****...I was sitting there with the "wtf" face the entire time I was reading her post...it was like one big ginormous run-on sentence...but that was funny lol
i like the song BUT she sounds horrible live. i have seen at least 4 different performances...the first time i let it go but after that I realized that she just doesn't sing that well. i still like the song though..lol
In all honesty, I’m happy for Letoya Luckett for finding success with her new music career. She’s a beautiful sista.
With that said, I don’t understand the hype surrounding her song. She’s not bringing any new to the table. Like many of the top 10 ‘urban’ singles out there, “Torn” is unoriginal, catchy, and will die out fast. I’m getting tired of artists/produces and tired sampling. There’s nothing wrong with borrowing, but folks need to be creative with it. The lyrics and her singing is average at best. I don’t know what she or any of these new jacks [Brooke Valentine, Teara Marie (wrong spelling I know), this list goes on ]are doing to separate themselves… I wonder if they really feel they are putting out quality music?
I don’t mean to sound negative, but I think people need to expand their horizons…
Her song is cool, but the woman is horrible live. I mean absolutely horrible!
