Yay im goin to howard!

I'm so happy cuz im finally sendin my admission fee and all that! i got accepted in december and i got a capstone scholarship so now all im waitin for is august! i dunno what to expect so can some people tell me what to expect when i get there and stuff and like how howard is??? please nothin bad cuz im too excited and negative stuff will bring me down lol. o yea and im gonna major in psychology and i havent heard much about their program so if anybody had some info thatd be nice

Ok.... So I used to get relaxers about 5 years ago...and ever since then I've gone natural... but I do flat iron my hair... I would recommend either Creme of Nature products or Pantine Pro-V Relaxed and Natural... They really moisturize your hair! I love em! I also use a couple of curling products because I usually wash my hair and let it air dry .....

I just applied last week and I was wondering how long should I expect to wait for a response. I didn't want to send it in the mail from atlanta so i sent it to my cousin whose a alumnus in d.c. to take it up there. Do y'all think it will speed up the process?

thats so true cuz i use both of those products and they make my hair all soft and they smell good lol. are u gonna go to howard next year???

but yea if u applied last week i think u should hear back by like the end of march. call in like a month and ask. cuz i have a friend who applied at the end of january and they told her she would know by the middle or end of february. and i applied late october and i found out christmas eve. so i would think like 2 months tops. but just call and see. and good luck!

Aight.....sounds good. On another note.....u are all very lovely ladies and when I get accepted to Howard I will look foward to meeting you all. It makes me happy to see such intelligent young women pursuing a post-secondary education. Do any of you have a myspace/facebook?

Yea, i cant really provide any depth to the conversation about leave in conditioners and going all-natural, but uh i jus got my acceptance letter from Howard and i was wondering, whats tha social life like up thea (parties, greek, night scene, ect.). If you all dont mind my inferior hare care knowledge in the buildin... lol.
