Is anyone attending the Weekend at the Mecca at Howard?

The weekend at the Mecca is March 27-30 at Howard. I was just wondering if anyone else was going?

I'll be up there tomorrow! Leaving in about 45 minutes to be exact! Spring Open House is Friday so I may bump into a few of yall. How was the first day???

1st day was like a normal first day....kinda boring... but the rest of the weekend was fun....well my host made sure i had fun the one time all of us were actually at the same place at the same time was at the dinner cruise and that was fun also So how did you like open house? did they let yall tour the dorms? after the student panel i had to leave.....

I just came for Friday's festivities lol So the band was nice, they played a little bit too long for me, but at least they sounded good. Some of the Dean's were long-winded and try as I might, I couldn't manage to stay awake for too long...sorry. The panel was good, really good, I got some valued info. from it and the guy who double majored in whatever was hilarious. One of the RA's in the Annex showed me her room and I loved it! She didn't have a roomate so she could do pretty much as she pleased since it was her own space. She had her own sink, a rented micro-fridge that Howard offers, and that's pretty much it. I also saw how the doubles were set up in the Annex. The furniture looked new in my opinion, and the floors were carpeted as well, showers are split between 2-3 ppl instead of like 30 lol I didn't get to see the Quad, but I don't care which I'm placed in. However, there is no air in the Quad, so I take that back....PUT EVY IN THE ANNEX!!!!

Okay, I see some of yall are having more fun BEFORE you get to college than I had during the four years I was THERE. Who is showing you dorm rooms and taking you all to house parties?? Somebody should have taken yo **** to a CLASS! lol Oh...and the Cafe ****!
