Preppy Girls at Howard University?

I am applying to Howard University this fall; Early Action! Whew! LOL

I am really, really preppy. I talk proper, i wear hollister, american eagle yada yada yada. I was wondering, considering that HU is a historically black college, how would I fit in? Are there other girls who are similar to me there? Unsure

Wow, I am going to be attending Howard as a transfer sophomore in the Spring. I have to say, that I am completely taken aback that a person that is so shallow will even be attending college, but I suppose I am contradicting myself in this regard. Maybe a little reality check wil do you good. I hail from both Brooklyn, NY and South Carolina. I can read, lol. I read philosophy, KANT DESCARTES, etc. I can also teach a "preppy" girl like you how to play Celo, feel me? So this whole notion of categorizing Black people is exactly why going to an HBCU might benefit you. Think that many Caucasians classify us in many negative ways, and know that your heritage is much too beautiful to be classified by those negative connotations. Peace, sister.
