basically i just want an honest opinion about the schools. im thinking about applying to those schools and more for fall of 2009 but i just want to get some insight into the schools. any tips about admissions? how are the professors, the classes, the people, the dorms, the social scene, etc. also just a couple pros and cons of the school. hope im not asking for much.i just wanna get to know more about the schools other than what i read or see on their websites.=]

Spelman's food is subpar but you can always find something around ATL. There are a ton of parties. I did an overnight and my hostess' room was covered with flyers and posters. When I joined the Spelman 2012 facebook group, I got 10 requests from party promoters. I highly doubt that anyone could have a poor social life. When it comes to financial aid, SPELMAN IS HORRIBLE! Only a select few get scholarships. If you're seriously contemplating spelman start searching for scholarships now. I got a full ride at Howard and NOTHING at Spelman. Fortunately, I got an out of school scholarship. I hope the college process doesn't stress you out. I'm sure you'll make the right decision.
