For all of those in the class of '05 and below, if you haven't been to the school of your choice yet, go....It is such an awesome experience. I just got back from a tour that went from last Sun. to this Sun. We went to Clark, Spelman, Morehouse, FAMU, Tuskegee, Southern, and Dillard. Spelman is still my first choice but it was so great to see all of those different campuses and see all of the history and culture and all of the Black students actually doing something with theier lives because I dont see much of that here in Cali. But anywayz, please take my advice, if you have the opportunity to go on a Black college tour or just go individually, GO. You'll definitely be glad you did!! P.S. I'm available for questions about certain campuses.

That's really nice. I'm glad ya'll got to do that. Now I'm hearing some good things about FAMU. Would you encourage someone all the way from NY to attend there? What about Tuskegee and Bethune Cookman? What was the deal with those schools? :?: :?: :?:
hmm...I didn't go on an "official" tour of Bethune-Cookman or anything but I did go down to Daytona and looked around the school...It's a relatively small campus compared to some other schools but It's still nice...most of the buildings look a little old on the outside but they may look nicer on the inside...as for the surrounding area...you have Daytona Beach like less than 10min away over the bridge...but for the most part Daytona only has black ppl when BCC is open, I suppose it's a college town...it's mostly white ppl, motorcycle clubs, or tourists during school breaks...not a big city...but I guess you need to see for yourself to see if it suits you or not...the ppl I know that go there have alot of pride in their school and I suppose there's a reason for that

I went on a black college tour back in my junior year of high school. If I didnt go Im not quite sure whether or not I would be at an HBCU right now...I had a great time when I visited schools...I went to: Hampton Clark Atlanta Morehouse Spelman Morris Brown ( when they were still accredited ) Alabama State Tuskeegee Fort Valley State I still remember everything about those schools when I was there...So if you have any questions, hit me up.
