at my school (Redan) we call them rookies and they're not members till the end of the season...and to make it worse is that the rising freshmen who played with us at the jamboree in May against SWD think that they're part of the band and are already talking back...they haven't even marched a game or parade or been on a band trip...I HATE freshmen...at spring camp they told their parents that we were cursing and hitting them on the practice field so we all got in trouble for that...our director was like "I know the rookies are real soft this year but you gotta set an example" :roll:

That's cool and everything. I did my little dirt in high school as well but, sorry shawty, college is an entirely different level that you can't even fathom.

TO BE HONEST....I'M NOT EVEN NERVOUS ABOUT BAND CAMP. I MEAN I KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE TOUGH AND ALL...I GUESS THE REALITY THAT I'M GOING TO COLLEGE AND EVERYTHING HASN'T SET IN. MY BAND CAMP STARTS IN TWO WEEKS AND I KNOW ON THAT DAY LONG DRIVE TO ALABAMA I'LL GET NERVOUS AND EXCITED....TWO MORE WEEKS TO BOOT CAMP.....UHHH I MEAN BAND CAMP. :lol:
