how do greeks feel about non-greeks sitting on their bench

i was recently on campus and the incoming freshmens where disrespecting the greek benchs (sitting on top of them, laying on them, feet on them) a couple of akas went to the freshmen and told them if your going to sit on the bench sit like u have good sense. the freshmens rolled their eyes and said a smart comment and the akas they didnt respond back they just walked away. so the main question is how do yall feel about people like that sitting on your bench and would you have said something? what would u have done?

Yep. That sounds just like CAU. 8) When I was entering as a Freshman at Clark the OG's made it known. They told us not to step, sit or walk across the Greek blocks. They made sure we knew that it was very disrespectful to do such a thing.

I dont want to sound mean or anything buttttttttttt I wish a b*tch would tell me to get up from where I am sitting. I aint even going to lie its going to be trouble ....trouble I mean yeah you painted the bench that belongs to the school and the students your frats colors but that dont mean its now yours...if my tuition money paying for the joint ...I'm sitting there..... I hate to be mean but Band Frats get no respect where I'm at....if a band lame dare say something he is definitely prone to getting that **** whomped. Maybe at Howard the Greek scene is fading out because I never see any problems on that front when it comes to greeks stepping out they place. Hell I've seen freshmen beat Greek's **** and thats just embarrassing. Word to the wise.....if you come to Howard with that bull*hit you are prone to getting your **** embarrassed and beat. You never know that person might not even go to school and might be packing heat. Another word of advice be easy on the greek gang stuff(thats what it is) cuz at HU they dont roll hard like that to check anyone.

I don't know about other schools but at my school we (as a chapter) pay for our Greek plots so actually no one's tuition is paying for our bench. It is highly disrespectful to sit or stand on our plots and people respect us (and all the Greeks here) enough not to do such a thing.

At XU during classtime people usually won't sit on the greek benches, but on the weekends and a night people do because that's the only place to sit on the yard. Sometimes greeks get a little **** if they walk by, and you may have one or two that will say something, but a lot of the time if they're alone they'll keep on pressin. One day one of the admins. was like, ya'll can sit on there if you want to, the student body paid for those benches, the greeks just put some bricks and rocks there and painted em...lol.

Thats because greeks on Howard's campus don't have benches....they have tree's or monuments on campus. So we dont have a problem of that. And most of them you have to walk all in the grass to get to them...There is no reason for anyone to just be chillin under the Ivy tree. You had to blatantly walk off the sidewalk and just want to "chill" under the tree. Some things deserve respect....and that's one of them.

Oh fa real!?!? Is that so!?!? Aight.....:arrow: So far, Showtime hasn't been known to take ish from anyone especially extra lames like yourself who make it a point to prove themselves by boasting on the net on how they'll whup someones ****. Here's a tip, we don't give a damn if pions like ya self don't respect us. Well, I wouldn't know, I just be chillin' at the ques plot. They don't mind if I sit on their bench. :lol: I have asked for permission though. I just don't sit on their bench unless there's a que over there.

Rubberbandman is **** on w/ that.. we don't have much of a problem w/ it, becuz that is utterly disrespectful, i can understand walking past the sundial, but actually stepping on it? that's dumb.. I've seen alumni from the chapter beat people up for that.. not pretty.... the DST plot is the triangle on the yard, but no one steps on the plaque.. People sit on the ZphiB's benches but the thing is that they are usually on the Sigmas' plot, so they don't care.... you'd have to outta the way to do it....... and by the way... I've seen a couple people get they ****rocked for sitting on the KKPsi bench...there were regular band members protecting that ****too.... please.. if that was my plot, you would see my running over just waiting to cuss out a futhamucca...

A Phi A plot is for Alphas, female greeks and A-sweethearts only. Unless they just probated. But our plots are out of the normal walking path for students anyway, so there would be no reason for them to be galavanting around. Most probates take place in front of the Que plot, and they make sure folk stay off, their joint too.

Urrrrmmmm. not the benches that I drove to 10 miles to Walmart to buy out MY pocket playa.... and if you do, betta be during a holiday when ain't nobody on kampus. my school ain't give us Sh*t but an empty 6x6 square foot of land and opportunity.
