Do you know that they raised the cost of riding the METRO...AGAIN!! When I came to Howard freshmen year it cost $1.10 oneway...now it costs $1.35!?! :evil: Dont they know I'm a struggling college student? Okay thats it...I just wanted to post that 8)

Man, I don't know why y'all complaining because Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) costs $2 for a ride and two transfers. And they're thinking about raising it again. Not to mention, if you just want to ride one way, it's $1.75. The Metro only costin' a dollar and thirty-five cents ain't nothin' compared to what we have to pay here. *smh*

hey.....I just spent the 4th in Chicago....I LOVE IT THERE!!! Chicago is a really cool place....but yea i was kinda mad to have to pay 1.75 to get on the train....and it doesn't give change...neither could i use my debit card.... :evil: :evil: What college student uses cash!! :roll:

Cash has become an inconvience and its so much easier to use debit cards.

aw man, dc buses are sumthin else. And i thought LA had crazy crackheads on the bus. DC got us beat. That's how I am already. Plus I find that I tend to spend more when I have cash on me.

Amen on that one! Shooooot, they need to install a lil debit part on the vending machines, cuz sometimes those late night study sessions will burn ya out. Can't tell ya how many times i couldn't even buy a bag of chips. That's how bad it gets yall. Being a college student isn't easy. Or maybe it's just me... :roll:

Oh please believe, it aint just you!!!.....my fridge is clearly empty in the towers. lol@clearly... "clearly"ALL these stores on georgia avenue need to start accepting debit, especially negrils and china wonder ..."five guys" came through for a sister many a night.....damn i miss "five guys" and their "fries in a bag"....ghetto **** restaurant :lol:

Ha, u said "clearly". I swear, after goin to Howard, i use that word entirely too much. Since bein at home for the summer, i don't hear it as much. Refreshing to get a lil piece of the HU for a minute.
