How many peeps have Relationships With their Dads??

lost my pops when i was 7 or 8 years old

I wouldn't know what to do if I didnt have my dad....He and I are a alike..We really don't talk much but when we do it's great to learn more about him....Especially, when he tells me how he had to hustle his way through college to make ends meat because his father was in and out of JAIL.. He told me that he didn't want to make the same mistake when he had a kid.. "When I have a kid, I want to be into the kid. I want to go into fatherhood the same way I go into work-I want to give it my all"

I am so shocked to see how many people have fathers....I guess thats something to say about blacks that go to college right? My father died from **** when I was 12. We were never real close cuz he was a crackhead.....maybe thats why I am so evil now....oh welll.....pass the liquor and the **** cuz I need to drown my problems away.....

^^ damn thats rough. well not you, above you, the crackthing well, that surely de-emphasizes anything i gotta say about my dad, but imma say it anyway. my parents divorced when i was 4. he moved back to Texas where he grew up with his family, while i live in CT. i go time and time to see him, i have NO hard feelings whatso ever. He doesnt KNOW me as a person, and i dont really know him. He will be there for me if i ask him, but i have learned not to ask anybody for anything. i realized i cant rely on nobody but myself, and most of the time i cant do that cause im high. my dad smokes weed too, and hes in his 50s. im like, arent you too old for that? My mother tells me stories about how they argued all the time, but hes real cool and laid back. i dont like my mom, does that count. shes an asshole.
