To put this simply...Planning on doing big things this spring. I've been geeked to do this since I was in the 8th grade. So seeing as I've been preparing since 8th grade...no...seriously...I have a vast amount of information on a certain sorority burned into my memory. And I don't plan on stopping with the reading and researching. BUT a freind of mines told me once told me that greeks were less likely to accept someone into their flanks when there is nothing to teach , because learning is a big part of the process. Now, I can't help that I have this information in my head...my question is. If this is true, do I downplay the knowledge and keep my mouth shut <~ or do what I do?
OHH I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION!! Do greeks so mercy and compassion... My G.P.A. might not be what it should be this spring because ...well some very very sad series of events for my family. Does it matter that I've lost members of my family recently or do I just have to have the G.P.A. no matter what the circumstances?
Okay...I'm thru...

Maybe I am missing your point. I don't understand why you have to insult me..All I am saying is that every organization requests that the candidate has over a 2.5GPA when in reality the CHAPTER, at times, as a WHOLE barley has a 2.5 GPA, sometimes lower..

Maybe I shouldn't have exposed the fact that a lot of Greeks aren't doing as well as most Outsiders think  :?

I think that she's tryin to say that you are making it sound like its ok for chapters or individual greeks to have less than a 2.5 GPA... thats what would it would sound like for some ignorant... :?...let say unknowledgeable GDI who has no comprehension about greek life whatsoever... By listening to some of the things that you are saying... some of these people out here might thing that all that have to do is barely maintain a 2.5, and once they... if they get selected and manage to finish it'll be alright to let their GPA's drop (which we all know is not the case). All of the D9 orgs were founded on the basic principles of brother/sisterhood, service, and ....scholarship. I think Trauma is getting a little upset because you are acting like the majority of Greeks out dont even give a f*ck about scholarship... :?
I dont care bout what somebody has to say about my comments but I just wanted to say what was on my mind. Im sorry if I sounded disrespectful to any of the Greeks here on this site but I just could see where Trauma was coming from... 8)

Oh I'm not saying it's OK to have a low GPA before and after you pledge..
But I'm saying that there are chapters in every Org. that have members that don't give a DAMN about their GPA..I just presented some proof of that..
Sh*t, it's just the truth
