okay, i don't think i'm alone when i saw that i think there is a reason God puts anyone in your life, right? regardless of who they are and how long they stay around....there is a purpose for the short or long visit of EVERYone you know.... so, given that....if God told you right now that particularly in the last FIVE YEARS (as in all of 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 - NOT '99!!), there specifically have been 10 individuals you MET who have given some type of contribution to the person you are today, the person you are to become, your way of thinking, etc. etc..... so who would you say these 10 people have been...and as briefly as possible...what did they leave you with about either (or all of) yourself, life in general, the world, people, etc...? what lesson did you learn from knowing them??? and finally, do you still know/keep in contact with them?? u can share why not if u don't...but that's optional.. now, these people could have been in your life for all of 1 hour...maybe 3 months....2 years....or the whole 5-year period...BUT...the keywords r that you MET them during this time frame...so, like...unless you're 4 yrs. old or some ish, ya can't say ya mama, get it?? or u can't mention the best friend u've known now since the 2nd grade.... ALSO....these people could have been the best of people....and they could have been the worst of people....they could have given you the greatest of experiences....and they could have supplied you with the greatest of burdens and/or stress...they could be loved ones...."hated" ones...long-lost cousins...neighbors...strangers...a baby you had within the last 5 years....the mailman from the house u stayed in during 2001....whoEVer...LITerally...

oh...& i was gonna add my homegurl jackie to the list...but i met her in the fall of '99 as well...

thats some BS i should have been numero uno on that list. u could have extented it to 6 years. :evil:

Chris - roommate in my senior year a. He's left me with a deeper sense of motivation to do my best. b. Don't worry about your circumstances; be thankful that you're alive. c. I try to keep in contact when I feel like it. He's a junior in EE, so I know how rough college life can be at that point.
Gerald - roommate in my sophomore year a. I know a little more about cars because of him. b. Life's too short to hold grudges against one another. c. No, and I probably wouldn't. He's difficult to be around sometimes, but he's still cool.
Dr. Jones - HCASC advisor a. the idea of being more open-minded, and knowledge of the world in general b. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched; always strive for excellence. c. Yes, I saw her when I went to AAMU's homecoming, and we're going to exchange email messages.
Pastor Jones - someone I'm cool with a. that I can achieve great things in life, as long as I acknowledge God first b. Take the time to build a stronger personal relationship with God. c. No, but I might give him a call every once in a while.
Renada - one of my best friends in college a. the chance to participate in funcitons that teach professionalism b. Look out for the ones you love. c. I try to, but we both have such hectic agendas that it's hard for us to get in contact with each other, even at night.
Sonya - former classmate a. a better sense of teamwork b. (the same as 5b) c. Yes, every now and then. I was so glad to see her, and a few others, at homecoming.
Desmond - a good friend of mine a. words of encouragement b. how to stand tall in the midst of trials and tribulations c. Actually, I don't. I haven't heard from him in a while.
Mike - A&M gospel choir director a. the chance to record songs in a studio and to improve my musical talents b. Being in the choir at that time was about ministry, and that's why our album was titled "Transforming Music into Ministry". c. Yes, he still emails everybody, as he gives us Godly advice.
Chemisha - someone I'm cool with a. how to treat a woman if I'm in a serious relationship b. Learn how to say "no". c. Sometimes, but it's difficult to get in touch with her.
Dr. Smith - 1st black dean of ECE @ Purdue a. the motivation of continuing my education b. Don't give up on your goals; endure to the end. c. Yeah, especially when there's a get-together, fish fry, or another social event.

That was hard, knowing that a lot more than 10 people have impacted my life in a good way, but I tried. Those were very good questions!
