For any 05 Senoirs what are your sat scores looking like if you have already taken it and if you took it today October 9th how do you think you did.
I took it in June and got a 900 but I want to go to hampton so im trynig to get at least a 1000.
well... i took the test last may without doin any kind of studyin whatsoeva -n- nearly cried when i got the score... a 890! i take them again and the ACT in december... i need everyone 2 pray for me! i couldn't afford one of those tutors cuz i have 2 make so many payments on everything else this year like senior trip and paying for gas so maybe all of the studyin i've been doin on my own and a lil help from above will get me through these tests.
I just took the NEW PSAT today to be prepared for March and that new Critical reading section is a beesh...there was this one passage talkin about parapsychology...and I was like :? the whole time and so was everyone else in the library...the math section was fairly simple...especially cuz me and everyone at my table cheated and the proctors weren't even watching...the writing section was extra easy...we didnt get the essay part though
OMG!! I agree! the psat became a b*** when I started reading about the parapsycholohy crap...why in the hell did they put that in there? I'm pretty good in english and grammar and stuff but when it came to that passage I was plainly stuck i had to read it so many times to get it. The math was okay except i wish i spent more time on it before taking the test. My biggest regret is not doing the um pretest and I forgot my wallet at home which had my ID and I drove illegally so it was a pretty bad morning to start with. Anywayz are you guys gonna take the new SAT or the old one, I'm planning on taking the new one cuz like i said i'm pretty good at writing and english but i hate the analogies.
October was my first time taking the SAT, and I scored a 1030. I know its not that good of a score, but I'm going to try again so that I can get scholarships
DONT FEEL BAD, YOUR NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO SCORE IN THE 900'S.... I GOT A 910 MY FIRST TIME AND A 960 WHEN I TOOK THEM ON OCT.9TH. AND I'M TRYNA GET INTO FLORIDA A&M. BUT YOU SHOULD TAKE THE ACT'S AS WELL. THATS WHAT I'M DOING...

I believe it is true you can get in with less than a 3.0 or less than a 950 but i wouldn't try both
also...i believe scholarships start at 1160 cuz i know alot of ppl wit 11 sumthings n still have some sort of scholarship(even if itz like 2500 or something)...i believe 1260 is like everything but board or some ish and theres stuff in between
I KNOW 1200 is supposed 2 b tuition
The first time I took the SAT I scored a dismal 1090, I took it again and scored a 1160 I am taking it again hopefully to score higher than a 1200.

I got an 1040 the first time, then I studied a lil bit and got an 1160. I'm gonna try one more time to see if I can break that good ol' 1200. The highest I got on the ACT was 26. :?
The SAT II...man those are a ****!!!! no comment on my writing scores.
I took the SAT's at the end of my 11th grade year. I got a very low score!! I took it again in November and got a 900. I wanted at least a 1100!!! I dont know if Im gonna take it again though. I just took the ACT so if that score isnt how I want it, then I'll take one of them, if not both over again!! hopefully my ACT score is high enough. Pray for me!!!
