besides it's all about quality over QUANTITY!!!
This would also be a stereotype...that a small group equals quality and a large group does not. It is possible to have quantity AND quality. It is just as easy to have group of 3 people that are a hot mess as it is to have 30.
However my organization, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc represents "quality over quantity" among other things. What I meant by it when I posted it was that my organization is not trying to have a large amount of girls in our organization (if that was the case, we would have interest meetings, we would just let everyone join that was interested in being in a sorority) . Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. looks for ladies who are
TRULY interested in all principles and standards that Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. stands for and ladies who can continue the legacy that my founders left for me and my soRHOrs to uphold, "Scholarship, Service, and SISTERHOOD". And that ma'am is a FACT, not a stereotype.
If I'm not mistaken, Zeta Phi Beta has the same opinion about "quality over quantity". If I am mistaken, my bad.
Who tried to assign a stereotype to Sigma Gamma Rho? Certainly not me. Just because an organization is large does not mean that they just let anybody in. As a college-educated and reasonable woman I would hope you would understand that. What organization within the Divine 9 does not stress that they want quality members?
It's obvious that you are inferring that AKA and DST want quantity over quality. However, let it be known again that just because AKA has more members than SGRho doesn't mean that AKA values quality any less.
You can go to any campus and find a line of 4 people that aren't as "tight" as they should be. And that madam, is also a fact.
