The purpose of the thread wasn't to argue over stereotypes, just to bring em to light...cuz stereotypes are just that....stereotypes, so you will always have exceptions to what people think are the "rules"

Who tried to assign a stereotype to Sigma Gamma Rho? Certainly not me. Just because an organization is large does not mean that they just let anybody in. As a college-educated and reasonable woman I would hope you would understand that. What organization within the Divine 9 does not stress that they want quality members? It's obvious that you are inferring that AKA and DST want quantity over quality. However, let it be known again that just because AKA has more members than SGRho doesn't mean that AKA values quality any less. You can go to any campus and find a line of 4 people that aren't as "tight" as they should be. And that madam, is also a fact.

I actually took the liberty to do what you said...do the research...it does say "quality over quantity" on SGRho and Zeta websites...the motto "quality over quantity" is used in other situations too in the real world, but I don't think that Sigma Gamma Rho and Zeta Phi Beta say it to offend other organizations....

That should sum up the content of the thread. Stereotypes is just that...stereotypes. Last time I checked, upholding stereotypes wasn't any of the principles of any of the Divine Nine.

The hell with a steroetype, everybody swore up and down ya boy was going to pledge either Kappa or Que, but I've always had Sigma in me. So looks can really through you off. Do you, its beautiful.
