NC A&T Vs NCCU

It's been done before and I'm putting this Poll in the yard because it will get more traffic as oppsosed to putting it in other forums.. Which School would you choose? North Carolina A&T or North Carolina Central?? Why Would A&T have the advantage over Central or vice versa?? I'm GOING to one of the schools next semester and I'm not sure whcih but I'll be at NCCU's homecoming this weekend...

Thanks everyone and Highlander that was a lot of info..Thanks a lot I just hate when people tell you to pick the school thats best for you?? How can anyone make that choice when they haven't been able to evaluate the schools of their choice.. One thing that bothers me is that the schools web-site only insinuates the positive. Which is understandable but it doesn't give propestive students a fair shake. I understand the academic background for both schools but I have NO IDEA of the Pros and Cons... You know stupid sh*t.. Is NCCU's or A&T's football team capable of winning more than 2 games? Ok NCCU is in the ghetto but is it in a dangerous area? Are there part-time jobs in Durham and Greensboro? How is the atmosphere at both schools? Is it **** or lively?? Is the food edible? How is the GREEK scene? Are the clubs a bunch of Hole In The Walls ?? I have a thousand and 1 questions but who has the time to answer them

NCCU is actually coming up this year. While they're not the best in the CIAA, they're definitely doing better than in the past. They're still about to get their **** handed to them for Homecoming. I have no idea who's bright idea it was to play Virginia State... :roll:

Hell yeah its dangerous. But no more so than any other black campus in the ghetto. I know I'm not afraid to walk through there at night (even with my letterman jacket on). But it depends on how secure you feel in certain situations.

Both campuses have the potential to be live. But don't let the rumors fool you. A&T is no worse of a party school than the white schoold (you won't see a donkey carrying a keg around here or NCCU). NCCU i live when something is going on, but I've never really seen people just chillin in certain spots. Of course, New Res. might not be the hottest spot on campus.

Here at A&T, its seems like Greeks are having a function all the time. Whether it be a party, a siminar, or anything else of the like. I've known many of them since freshman year before they even got their letters, so I know they're pretty cool regarless of your preference (everyone has a preference) for which group you like, and dispite all of the stereotypes that are associated with them. I'm not too sure about the NCCU greek life, but Wile E. can prolly help you out.

No, there's really none that I can think of. Especially the ones downtown. My personal preference is a place call Greene Street. Its usually a pretty good mix of black folk and white folk. In Durham, I've only been to first friday's at the marriot, so I'on know. However, if you care to venture over to Raleigh, Plush is a really nice place (and the A/C actually works). You'll also find Big Daddy Kane frequenting the clubs in the area (he lives in Raleigh).
