A friend of mine told me that you are never suppose to shake a delta or AKA's hand. She said that one time when she was introducing her self to one of them and she reached out to shake their hand they just stood there and looked at her like she was crazy. what is the reason behind this? and is this looked down upon?

My previous comments were in regards to Interest Meetings.
Of course at a Mix and Mingle I will interact with folks.
Which is why I don't shake hands at an interest meeting at all.
Don't start none, won't be none.

Thats their fault for assuming....and if they ever came to me and said " Well you shook my hand....blah blah"... I'd tell them ..." You know what people say about those who assume right?"

Thats some of the problems we encounter with "Greeks" "Non-Greeks" "tryin to be down" and so on and so forth. Everything isn't about the organization at first glace.... u think maybe they were just being polite. So if people come to thee meetings and DON'T speak..are they not being rude??
