What kind of business would you start? :!: Remember...you're starting this business to make more money than you spent.

Although I'm barely a teen anymore, I would start a major African American magazine for girls, because there really isn't a major one on the market. I can look through my old Seventeen magazines or my sister's YM's and rarely see an African American other than a few celebrities. I rarely got to see makeup for my skin color, or hair tips that related to me. I want African American girls to see someone who, for once, looks similar to her and not a model who is the epitome of Eurocentric beauty.
What is your major?
Economics/Pre-law.

yeah, i'm interested in something along those lines. I want to start up my own television production company. I'm also interested in doing a lil scriptwriting, a few screenplays, and starting up some more television shows that represent the African American community in a positive light. Wouldn't even mind hosting my own show. Something geared towards youth, with a sorta "Teen Summit" feel to it, offering awareness on social issues, educational advice, and with an entertainment appeal as well with musical guests. As a link to the show, I also want to start a non-profit organization for inner city minority youth. A program in which they can recieve mentors/tutors, after school/summer camps, get involved in extracurricular activities...things of that nature. Eventually, i would like to expand that program to the youth of Africa. Kay...i know i'm trying to do alot here. But hey, the world is a big place and ya only live once. Live it up

I like that idea Jazzy. I remember back in the day i used to get Teen magazine in the mail all the time. Thought it was just the coolest thing, but in reality, there was nothing in there really geared towards me. I think young black girls need something to call their own. If u don't start it, i sure hope someone does.

I'm networking. I like to establish dialouge with folks who have ideas that are along the same lines as some of mine.
