For All My Bush Supporters. . . Posted on 02-12-2005

The following is the list of all the programs Bush plans to eliminate for 2006. After reading this I really can't see how anyone who isn't wealthy and has a brain could even think to continue to support Bush  It's long but I highlighted some important ones that particulary affect us and our future families. Being from DC this is particularly important because I know a lot of our parents work for the government and as yall can see he wants to cut quite a few of the governent departments. I'm going to keep this sweet and short and leave this thread alone.

Its hard for me to believe you are more a **** of discrimination than a black man.....
Its hard for me to believe that a black man is really subjugated to all this 'discrimination'. I get just as much if not worse than he does because #1 I look about as white as a latino, have a thicker accent than anyone on this board; which coincides with #2 in that if I'm going to scream discrimination everyone calls me white because of my heritage. How could you possibly discriminate a white man?

Well I guess you would have preferred being brought over here on a ship.
Someone you know was brought here on a ship? Is this supposed to make me feel sorry for you, for what your ancestors went through and hardly apply to your life whatsoever at this point? How about this... I guess you would prefer being overrun twice by the Allied army in which over 10 million people died. Yes, I'm sorry. I'm an ignorant white man. I know nothing. How about this, YOU learn about MY RACE (Southern Italians), then you can comment. Thunder

I can hardly comment on the post above mine lol. But let's get something out in the air as far as discrimination is concerned. Whether you consider yourself white or not, white people will not look at you in the same way, with the same disgust in some cases, that they would look at a black man or woman. Because your skin is of a fairer complexion you automatically have privilege in this country over those of darker complexions whether you realize it or not. And that's not to downplay the fact that people may have picked on you, or what have you, because of your accent or because you may be an immigrant. And also what happened to Africans 400+ years ago still continues to affect the way blacks are looked at and treated in this country today. So in actuality the way our ancestors were brought over to this country is extremely relevant to our lives today as Blacks in the Americas. And also, nobody was making comments/assumptions about Italians, European immigrants, or just plain out white people until you started mentioning and assuming about what black people do in your own posts. -- And that is it.

I love how when Jesse Jackson says something people rally behind it full steam ahead. But when I say it, I'm assuming and I'm stupid. In a December 2004 speech, JESSE JACKSON SAID THE EXACT SAME THING I DID, except a little less harshly. Yet all the sudden he speaks the truth, and I'm assuming. Can someone explain this? Get two things straight with me. A) I don't EVER assume anything with politics. B) I don't go to an HBCU to GET to know blacks. I went because I know blacks and black people are way more colorful than white people. True, I am on the outside looking in, but I got a pretty damn good view from right here. No assumptions?

She compared me (someone she doesn't know) to something she does know, assuming I don't know either black men. I can find Black men who has suffered worse than me, and I can find black men who aren't even in the same circle as I am. I can find Italians vice versa. And about slavery, the idea started with importing blacks when they started SELLING themsleves in the mid 1400's to Pollocks looking for cheap labor. THAT is how black slavery started. **** nations didn't just get up one day, float over on the boat, chain up and enslave Africans. The chiefs SOLD their tribesmen and women for whatever they did. At that point it spread like wildfire and Africans were persecuted and enslaved. But shouldn't I be complaining about the enslavement of the people of Naples (my people), which ensued for over A THOSUAND years? Don't hear too much about that do you? No, because us Napoli are not victims of ourselves. We managed to outgrow our weakness as a state and made ourselves what we are now....one of the best producing cities for Fine Arts. Can you tell me why I'm don't suffer discrimination in any parts of Rome? And what I mean being a **** of ourself is this. Not raggin on the Hip-hop culture, but it is not appealing in the business world the slightest bit. As long as blacks say "Whatever I don't give a f*ck what you think, I wear what I please.", the spiral is going to keep going downwards. If I wanted to be stereotypical Italian-American, I would spike my hair put on a fake **** Italian accent and go around acting like a Gotti kid and say "Whatever I don give no foyk what chu tink. I weya what I wants". But I hate the Gotti's and their representation and the national stereotype. And I will denounce them into my grave (unless they clean up).

HAHA FAMU's fault? That's hilarious. Im sure you realize Famuan's don't populate the entire state of Florida. This is my last post. There's no point in discussing the African-American race with a white person.
