Check out the detailed poll above, and pick out which one represents how much TV news you watch. Does anyone here besides me watch local/national news on TV? By local, I mean your basic local CBS/ABC/NBC stations (for example: News 2....NewsCenter 4....Eyewitness News 5). National being ABC/CBS/NBC national evening news, CNN, MSNBC, ****....and then there is Fox News (the conservatives' favorite biased choice). The reason I'm asking is to get a feel for how the younger crowd feels about TV news. People (and surveys) say that the younger crowd (18-27) doesn't care about the news as much as the older crowd does. I brought this up with our News Director, trying to persuade him to either re-work our newscasts to appeal to the folks from my generation, OR create ONE newscast that would air the news that is relevent to our lives. State your pleasure negroes.

Like demmeri said, I watch the news but it's VERY biased. News is supposed to be about information, just the facts. Alot people get outta hand with things, and things that they say which they think is OK by their standards, can really offend someone else watching.

i urge everyone to take the demmeri challenge... listen to rush **** for one week and you'll be cured of liberal ****! seriously, give it a chance for about one week and it will change your life...now i'm a militant conservative and proud of it...you'll notice that rush is right 99% of the time...how else could this website assclown win 90% of the political discussions i get into on here?...i'm a college dropout and yet i alone balance the politics on here... gotta be rush.... become a "dittohead"! (stacy dash)

There's a daytime program on Fox News called "Dayside with Linda Vester". They usually have some good interviews. The biggest problem I have with Fox News is the fact that Rupert Murdoch (conservative owner of the network) INSISTS on calling his network a NEWS network....when it is clearly a TALK/OPINION network. Anyways. I watch CNN Headline News when I'm at home. I work dayside shift at a local ABC affiliate, so Good Morning America and World News This Morning (overnite news program) is damn near force fed to me. I love me some Robin Roberts, so it's not that bad. I watch CBS Up To The Minute. Its an 'overnight' program that airs from 2-5am. Melissa McDermott (anchor) is pretty easy on the eyes/ears that time of day, too. Every now and then, I'll stay awake long enough to catch Nightline. I'll watch 60 Minutes/Dateline/ABC Primetime if they are discussing interesting stuff. I used to watch NBC Nightly News back when Tom Brokaw was still in his heydey at the network. Brian Williams is a great anchor, but nothing compares to hearing Brokaw's tell me whats going on while I'm eating dinner.
