R U Attending CAU this fall?

I'm stressing myself every day, and arguing with my father constantly about whether or not I want to be in debt by going to CAU, or just attend St. John's Univeriity which is also a private institution, but it's predominately caucasian. I really want to attend CAU, but the amount of $ they gave me in loans is crazy...I didn't even get work study. I mean damn. :sad:

I don't know. They gave me hella loans so I might be going to school a semester late at a PWI on a full ride. I have to go downtown on thursday to talk about my housing waiver application so I really don't know if I will be going there this fall.

hey wat good i'll be attendin cau also in da fall. yea cau is killin me too with da whole loan thing i couldnt even get approved for any but i did get like half of da money so i was be attendin even if its just part time i just want to get in da door at first ya know. mad people in my area keep criticizing me for wanting to go to clark sayin its ghetto and all and dat i should just stay in state since it would be cheaper but i dont care i want to get a piece of da cau experience and be able to tell people how black schools aren't as bad as they think and hear of

I got my whole financial aid problem straightened out...so you guys are definitely going to see me in the fall. Just call up the finaid office and ask for a better finaid award, possibly what they can offer you, it doesn't hurt to try...but when you do this make someone of authority call.
