Who's Doing the Grad School Thing @ an HBCU??

Hi All...I'm new to this....literally. I just graduated from Rutgers University undergrad & have starved myself from an HBCU experienced. Oops

yEAH...BUT that's about to all change come Fall 2004 when I hit Morgan State's Campus! Yo! But who is doing the grad thing at an HBCU? Where ya at? What ya studying? *OH AND AH, Moragn State heads, come holla at me

I'm not going to an HBCU for grad school. I've already got accepted to a PWI for the next two years, and I'm really excited about it.

Not I. I plan on going to grad school at Emory for their JD/MBA program. I haven't found an HBCU that offers those programs especially for Media and Entertainment law and MBA is Entreprenuership.

Nope. Definitely not. After I finish my undergrad at FAMU, Ima take my black **** to a PWI for graduate school. :shrugs: Just time for a change, and experience sumthing new :arrow:

Pray fa girl cause I'm taking the GRE this year!!!! My goal is to stay at Skegee and get my masters in occupational therapy. I might go to Alabama A&M and get my masters in psych.....just depends on if i decide to go on another route in my psych.

My sister went to GA Tech for the same thing for two years. It is an extremely vigorous and difficult program, but Tech is one of the best places that you can go for it. My sister had problems, though, because there were so few Black people, so she did't really get the college experience that she would've wanted, and because the environment was so impersonal and competitive. She said that there weren't many people willing to work together and help eachother out. She is doing much better at a smaller school where she communicates more with proffesors, participates in study groups, etc. Hope this helps!
