I am a very confident person especially when it comes to school and stuff like that but when I know someone doesnt like me and they're "hatin on me" I intentionally come off arrogant for the reason that I know I am better than them ( I know it is somewhat bias ) ... but when their attitudes towards me are stanK and waCk its hard for me not to acome across arrogant ... But I dont know I think I am a pretty nice person until someone upsets me :-)

That's why there is a such thing as an arrogant person or it wouldn't be a word. Just like someone is who is shy, happy, or angry. A person is what they are, calling it perception or not.
