See the trick to making the playoffs is this: You MUST have at least one gangsta on your team. Back in the 90's, Pat Riley and the Miami Heat didn't do it without P.J. Brown. The Pistons never did it w/out Dennis Rodman (or Laimbeer, or Rick Mahorn...or John Salley), and the Sixers/Suns/Rockets didn't do it w/out Barkley. The '87 Lakers had big Mychael Thompson. Celtics had Robert Parish. The Lakers of these days has Shaq. The Sacramento Kings have Chris Webber. The Spurs have Robert Horry, Malik Rose, and Charlie Ward. Well, i think i've made my point. You gotta have that one (or two or three) guy(s) on the team that's willing to fight if they gotta. Its the intimidation factor that separates the men from the **** of the NBA.

^^^Yes yes...the Lakers got their behinds handed to them by Sacramento. I think my boys are back. C. Webb scored 25 points, Christie scored 21 points, and Peja had 13 points. Christie was all over Bryant, and held him to 8 points. This was a good game, and this knocked the Lakers down to 4th place, and puts Sac back in 2nd. This was a crucial game, and the best (I think) came out on top. Don't sleep on my boys.

Quick question....if NJ record is 46-33 and Detriot's record is 53-27, why is NJ 2nd and Detriot 3rd? Thats one thing I don't understand.

division leaders are the top two seeds... don't matter how bad the division leader is doing... next year each conference is gonna have three divisions... but the third division leader will still get a lower seed though, meaning just the top two divisions are guaranteed a home court spot, and the third division leader can still not have homecourt... that's really gonna be more confusing...
