I met a woman fresh out of law school in the field of law I want to go into making $87,000 a year. That's not bad at all considering she hadn't represented one client yet.

I once wanted to work for CNN....but their owners have turned that place upside down. People are getting fired left and right (for no real reason....just because the owners want to cut back). I know a freelance weather anchor who's done a lot of work for CNN, and he says that things are getting pretty bad there. Once the ship sinks, nobody will want to work there because they wont trust the owners. Bad times at CNN these days. PM me if you wanna know some dirt.

UM, I don't know...I'm surely gone major in sociology and I've been thinking about what exactly I'm going to do with it. Social work has been on my mind all year, but I just recently started thinking about high school counseling. Whatever I do, it's going to be in a high school though, so I'll be gettin paid decent. Maybe get a few more thousand if I can coach football like I want to also.

I have yet to find a concrete number. This post kind of got me interested in how much I would make if I follow through with the Cancer Research Idea. I found this excerpt from an article... Expanding the Number of Biomedical Researchers There is a shortage of biomedical researchers in the cancer field because of inadequate pay. This shortage slows the pace of discovery and delays the development of new **** and treatments. The legislation would create a new program to pay off the medical school loans of 100 physicians per year who commit to spend at least three years as cancer researchers. This provision would also boost the annual salaries of 1,000 post doctoral researchers over 5 years, up from the current starting salary of $28,000. Every year, young physicians and researchers avoid the field of cancer research because, frankly, they feel they can make more money elsewhere. This provision will help reverse that trend and add thousands of men and women on the front lines of the fight. I figure that's not too bad. Hell if they take care of my loans, then I wouldn't have any loans to pay off.
