Are you comfortable around other races?

I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say "You shouldn't go to an HBCU because the world isn't all black and you need to learn to associate with other races" so yea, like the title asks...are you comfortable around other races? or do you just tolerate them because you HAVE to?

well, i went to a really diverse high school in teh land of diversity...berkeley california. i used to think that races acted noticably different just based on their race....but being at an hbcu changed my view of this completely.. it semms like its more about your economic standing and your background than your race alone. This was a shock for me...since i was from a prodominantly poor and black envirnment to be confronted by black people that talked and acted and dressed and thought in ways which were previously characteristics of white people to me. And also...i feel like im more comfortable around other races because being comfortable around black peoeple and understanding them is complex...its seems like there are an endless amount of facters that go into black social interactions that seem to prepare me for any situatu=ion with any race......but hey, what to i know?............ :???:

Well, to answer my own question...Honestly, I'm damn near tired of black people right now....I've been in the racial majority since elementary school (I was in Louisiana before then...ALL white) so I'm suffering from negro **** right about now...I still love my people BUT I think I need to be around some other races...I have so much to say about this but I'm not going to say it on here because it may offend some people...If I don't experience some diversity SOON (in every sense of the word) I'm seriously going to go insane...

I still don't know why I don't like Japanese people.
