So, I'm officially a senior in highschool and it's time to apply for college. Do I have a chance of getting in?? I am ranked 160 out of 433 I am a National Achievement Scholar (Referred) I have a 3.04 G.P.A I've taken only honor and AP classes my entire high school career..... Also, what kind of scholarships does Howard offer and how do you apply for them??

When applying to Howard should you use the application booklet they give you or should you apply online? I don't really want to write in pen. And if you do apply online, do you just send your recommendations through the mail along with your essay?

^^^I did it on paper mainly because i felt safer in that option rather than doing it on the internet. The application process online was malfunctioned which was also the main reason why i didnt apply online.

You can always type your app on a typewriter...that looks more professional. And I would try to send everything together (recs, essay and app). Make a copy of everything you send and see if the Post Office will let you track your package so that you will know the exact date and time that it was received.

Umm.... don't typewriters cost money lol.......but really is there any downloadable application that I can use and print cause I don't know where I can find find a typewriter.

Most public libraries have access to typewriters. Just call around and inquire. If a library isn't near you that has one, scanning the application and then typing it on a word processor on your computer might be an option. Can't say i've tried it tho, so don't quote me lol
