Going so far away and staying focused...most definately!! Cuz i'm going to Hampton (i think) next year and i live on the west coast, so i'm going to be really far from home (however, my uncle lives in MD and i have a cousin at Howard) Also, i go to an almost all white and asian shool (you can count the black seniors on your hands), so it's gonna be a big change. Anyone have any advice on how to make the transition easier cuz i have to maintain a 3.3 & is anyone going to Hampton

i just hope that i dont' get distracted from my work cause i got to keep my grades up... i know that college is goin to be crazy with the parties, the club and all the other stuff that i'm tryin to get in...i just hope i stay focused cause i'm tryin to get a scholarship and if i do i hope i keep it...but i know i will have fun and get my work done...hopefully

My three biggest concerns would be dorm life because I don't know what to expect and I hope I get along well with my roommate. I am use to having my own room, but I will adjust fine with sharing a room. Money will be an issue, but I know everything will work out. Time management is a concern for me because with high school I'm use to doing my work or studying for a test at the last minute and getting As and Bs. I know I will have to have a good schedule for doing my work when I need to and getting it done ahead of time.

From the poll Iguess my biggest concern would be... makin friends. I am a friendly person. 
I am that person that has to make the cashier smile. But i have my ways. :? When I get around a lot of people I get kinda quiet sumtimes. :?: :?: I dunno. I dont wanna be a fool and cpome off looking carzy...ya know :?:
