these rookies dont understand that they cant be sayin what band they plan on being in. You dont say you a future Legion member you dont know if you gonna make my band yet. *neck* congrats your first neck help me out Vets can we neck all the rookies in here.

Well at Hampton if someone calls you a crab then they prolly know nothing of Hampton traditions...lol We have "New People" they start out so low that they dont even get a name...lol..j/k But I talked to one of my friends that went to BCC and he said that crab is like Magot...lol... I dont think they mean a sea crab but the other kind of crab nasty people get..but thats what he told me

Why? I don't see why I can't tell no one I'm trying out for band. It's just like trying out for a sport. So I don't see the big deal. It's nothing like tryna get in a fraternity or sorority.

Well, I heard from someone that the term CRAB for freshman came from Texas Southern, you know, the Ocean of Soul.....get it? CRAB? OCEAN? A lot of crabs and what-not are caught along these shores....lol....

See that where you asre wrong. You have a CRAB way of thinking. The Band is a SACRED orginization. You have to give blood sweat and tears. You also will go through some mentally challenging situations and if you cant deal then you will break. You dont know what it takes to be in the band CRAB but you will soon find out. you cant associate yourself in anyway shape or form to an orginization that you have not been apart of its like saying (in your case) I wanna be a DELTA. you cant walk around saying that. You cant walk around saying I wanna be a _________ or im going to be in ________'s BAND. I wish you were comming to Norfolk!!!! WE DONT DRINK AND WE DONT SMOKE NORFOLK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well TECHNICALLY you are an incoming freshman ...you wont be a crab until your first day of camp.... its okay...most people dont have people like us to tell them that, and they get it hard... you saw Drumline...its nothing like that..lol
