Do you know that they raised the cost of riding the METRO...AGAIN!! When I came to Howard freshmen year it cost $1.10 oneway...now it costs $1.35!?! :evil: Dont they know I'm a struggling college student? Okay thats it...I just wanted to post that 8)

Yeah, gas prices out here in Cali is crazy. It's like 2$.10 a gallon. So I rather spend $1.35 on the Metro. I will be saving!!!!!!!!!

I got a SmartTrip card for the metro here...the card itself costs $5, and acts as a sort of debit card you can swipe over and over...just deposit the money on, and use it...you can also use a credit card to put money on, in case your ACTUAL funds are running kinda low...

is it true they extended the metro to dulles airport...cause if so YIPPEE for me so i wont have to take a damn expensive taxi again lol

no, no metro to Dulles...but I heard there is a bus that goes out there from West Falls (on the orange line)

They are building a metro stop at Dulles airport...but no word on when it may be done. In fact I don't think they will get started on it until next month.
