Why do Ladies say, "I have more guy friends than girls'

I ALWAYS hear girls saying that they have more guy friends than girls. Everytime I hear it, I can't help but to think, (even 4 a split second) that she's giving it up to alot of guys,etc. Why do girls not have closer relationships with their own gender? more importantly, why do we want to know that you have more males in your life than females??

It's not to say that i can't or wont get along with females i just choose to keep only a few in my company. I have about % real cool chicks that i can talkt to about anything but with that comes the arguments, all the emoyions and fights that guys just don't seem to bring. I mean honestly how many girl friends on average does any female have. I think to say that you have more than 5 or 6 then you don't really know those people has well as i would want to know my friends. AND i don't think that it's braggin about not being able to get along with females it just a statement of fact. And for me to sit here and say something is wrong with myself is.......... :roll: b/c i feel this way i am the way that i am either you live with it or not b/c im only here to satisfy myself and everyone else is an afterthought. Not to say im gonna hurt someone on purpose. Why change myself if im not asking them to change themselves. NOT EVERY CHANGE IS FOR THE BETTER.

Well real recognizes real... And it is not hard for me to see past phake and fony females... I never deal with them... So I rarely have run ins with other girls! SOOOO... Maybe you all who run into a lot of phony broads are phony yourselves. Just a thought. Maybe yall are the problems? Not embracing and developing your relationships with other women properly. Aw yea... Dudes are two-faced too!

Real people=real friends.....male or female. A male can be jus as phony as a girl--so the lesson i have learned-CHOOSE UR FRIENDS WISELY-dont matter who they are cuz some people in general are jus triflin.

quick question...If females friends are so petty, jealous, competitive, spiteful, etc...then what does that makes US...the females that are responding to this thread? Do u consider yourself to be petty & spiteful? Uhhh...prolly not. So why does it have to apply to the majority of the female population? My close circle of friends are all females and we are all like-minded so we don't have problems like that. If a chick crosses me wrong, i wouldn't look at it any differently from a dude crossing me wrong. Shady is shady...no matter who it's comin from

Cosigns. And i'm feelin u too cafe-aulait. It goes both ways. I have guys that i'm "cool wit" or that are "tha homiez", but not alot that i am extremely close with. Mainly becuz most female/male friendships initiate becuz of some type of physical attraction or chemistry...or somehow leads to that in the long run. So it's hard to stay so mutual when there is flirtation goin on.

lol...I use to have more male friends than female friends because I believed that females were TRIFLIN (still do)...but later on down the line...I figured out how TRIFLIN males can be as well...So I keep my "list" of friends VERY short & "I pick my friends like I pick my fruit".....me not liking females but I am attending Spelman...how ironic is that? :lol: :roll:
