Oprah could do more, but she is doin something that is all i am saying. Right now she has the Oprah show, but she plans to retire from in 2006. She has even said that what she has done in the world is nothing compared to what she can do. We will have to see what she means by that when she retires from the show. Jimmy Carter wasn't building houses during his Presidency, he was running the country. Oprah still has a day job and a very busy schedule. Nonetheless i still agree she can and should do more.

His best work has come after he left the Oval Office. His main accomplishment being his integral part in working with Habitat For Humanity International. He's actually gotten more recognition for was he's doing now than for doing some of the great things that he did in office. The Carter Center is internationally known for helping with peace, elections in third world countries, and worlwide health problems. He's not just running around handing out gifts and saying "Oh please give... pretty please." He's sitting and talking with these people through the whole process. While he's doing things with HFHI, he's actually working on the houses as well, not just paying other people to do it. He mediates peace processes. He assists in helping people become self sustaining. He not only does it around the world, but he does it in the United States.
