LOL...I feel u, I thought it was true too but we discussed it in my African American history class and the teacher said that it was most likely fictitious because it was no real evidence to show that it was true.

thank y'all for the love...I appreciate it but y'all are right...alotta dues are still enslaved in their minds. It just hurts my feelings. You dunno how many dudes I know (that were darker than me!) that all said they wanted an "exotic" or mixed girl....and have never been with black women b/c we're "too loud" or "too ghetto" or sumthin like that....I try not to knock what ppl do...cuz I mean, my heart is color blind...If you look good, you look good....so who's to say that's not how some dudes are? But it just seems like most guys are wit the light skinned girls because they are light skinned.... p.s. in the pic i showed y'all...it was the lighting. Wit my whack **** web cam u gotta have like a zillion watts blarin on u so u won't look like a shadow lol (here's another pic for the doubters)

lol. Amen Amen! Honestly...i can't even remember everything that my original post entailed, but the whole "complexion complex" was just a small snippit of that. Guess that's just where the minds of the peoples are. Seems like it's sumthin we'll never let go. As for the tv thing...mayne...u don't even need cable nowadayz to see that crap...shooot, u don't need a tv period. The effects are in the actions of the people that u see everyday.

Black women are out of sytle because almost everywhere you look we are being shown as hoes, called hoes or having attitudes. Black Men on TV aren't helping Black women to look good because of what they say about us and how they protray us in theirs videos. I think the Video hoes should all be white then we will see how long it takes for BET to be taken off the air.
