I was doing some research on AKA's, and I noticed something about "re-activation fees" which leads me to believe that if you don't pay some kinda dues, you're out....but then if u want back in you gotta pay. Maybe I got it twisted... Do you have to pay dues in the frat/soro you're in, and is this like, a normal thing , or just AKA's?

I didn't say I was her big sister. I didn't even say she was involved in a process. I just want to know how she can put up with the strains of a process when little message board ish gets to her so easily. BTW, I respond the way I want to respond for the reasons I choose. If you don't like the way I respond, tough. But how are you any different than what you are accusing me of by trying to call me out? How necessary is that? What will be accomplished? I don't care what you think, so you can just swing your **** on over in the direction of someone who cares.

Your last paragraph is kind of ironic, being that the people (like myself) who expressed a view that just happens to oppose yours feel the same way. This is a forum. You get to express your views, just like I do. Notice how I didn't tell you to simply "shut-up" or to "go swing your **** on over somewhere" (<--nice choice of words btw) or anything like that. I just typed my own views (no simple "cosigns" or just reading through like I don't have a real opinion of my own.......that IMO would be "Jessica Simpson-ish" :? ). BTW, what I stated in my first post was not directed to one particular person. That's why I didn't bother quoting anyone. It was directed towards the numerous people it applied to. If you felt I "called you out" then I guess you can be counted among the many it applied to.

I think that the fact that we are still talking about this is blowing it out of proprtion... I mean... other people have posted, gotten their criticism, taken it, and continued posting...H.S. or not.... I'm going to have to assume that this is as much a waste of my time as it is e'rybody else (but yet, I choose to post).. OK.. we all agree that she raised a semi-dumb question that didn't need to occupy an entire thread.. We also somewhat agree that she definitely didn't go about asking it the right way... Whatever.. The main thing that I'm tryna emphasize to her is Judgemnet/Discretion... She needs to learn how to use her judgement in times like this.. whether its how to ask a question or thru which outlet... For all she knows, we could all be perping and she would be getting a whole bunch of false responses... I'm tryna make sure that she comes thru the RIGHT information thru her own diligence.. like I said early, it only takes a little bit more digging to find stuff... I mean, she should be lucky that she has the internet... People used to go thru Howard's archives to try to find information (in tons of boks).. I hope she learned that lesson... I'd hate for her to have to re-learn everything she memorized because of faulty information, DURING her intake process (if/when that happens).... SOOOOOOO... I'd say that this thread should be locked, but I'm sure some1 else has something to say.....

This shows how much the moderators of this forum check stuff. Info about reactivation fees is posted on national websites...well I know atleast one for sure. I think it gives enough info there for a person in that situation to know what to do.
