i just went natural less than a week ago and i am very happy with my hair and myself for the first time in a long time.
how did u go natural less than a week ago? did u cut off ya hair?
you probably not really trippin off my response anymore but i feel rude when someone addresses something directly to me and i just look at it so...yes, i let my new growth grow in for about 2 months and then i just went and got it cut. it's been 2 weeks and 3 days now. the only thing that has made me unhappy for split seconds at a time is being questioned about it by people who don't understand why i did it.

I love the color of my hair (sandy brown), but I wish it were thicker and a little longer.

I like my hair. Its thick but I actually want it to be a lil thicker tho. As far as the length...its past my neck..almost to my shoulder...i been working on trying to get it longer...thats why I wear a lot of weave..cause my hair grows fast when I have weave in....but yea...overall I like my hair. Does anyone know of any products for black women to help thicken hair???
Keep it moisturized daily and using oils/leave in conditioner/grease with vitamins and special herbs help to keep it healthy. Can't promise that'll it'll get thicker per se, becuz sometimes it just depends on the grade of your hair. Some people just naturally have thinner hair. But keeping it healthy or using shampoos/conditioners that increase volume, does help to give it a "thicker" appearance.

I'm happy with it now. It's thick, healthy, and at the length i want it to be. But i get bored easily so i may switch things up and either cut it or go natural.

I love my hair. I went natual about 6 years ago (in the 8th grade), and ofcourse it was hard but it was the best decision I've ever made for my hair. It's EXTREMELY thick. When I flat iron it (which I rarely do) or stretch it, my hair reaches my waist. When I don't manipulate it whatsoever it sits just below my shoulders. One thing that annoys me about my hair is washing and especially drying it. It takes sooooo long! I may change my hair color to a dark brown/black, cuz I've never liked my natural sandy brown hair color.
