Yea I had my heart set on being a feature majorette for golden delight until I started going to more games this past football season and seen that sh!t... I can twirl and what not but I don't think I have enough confidence to do all of that... fukk around get burned and **** :? .
But to answer the question of a post... I plan on applying to become a Golden Delight (yes I did say apply). You know them girls are about business cause u have to do an application, send a photo and audition tape in order to be
invited to audition... that way not just any chick off the street is comming to audition. Yea its hard work to get on a dance/auxillary team at a HBCU but I'm prepared for the challenge

I made the dance team. Only 4 outta 20 made it. One was a first year. That was me. Then I quit...I'm lazy as sh!t...actually I dnt show up one too many times....I was at Morehouse breakin up a fight....smh..... :roll:

Yeah they did nothing but take up space and time. So u honestly think that MBC's dancers can hold a candle to anything that Southern produces? I think not. They might be the **** out in Atlanta against Clark and Morehouse's dancers but bring them to the SWAC. They wouldn't cut it at a SU dance audition let alone any other in the SWAC.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TIANA OR ANY OF THE OTHERS ARE PUTTING IN YOUR HEAD BUT CALM IT DOWN.AS A FORMER MEMBER OF BUBBLIN' I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT WE WERE ONE OF THE BEST SQUADS AROUND.YOU CANT EVEN COMPARE US TO THE DOLLS BECAUSE OF TWO DIFFERENT STYLES.AND WHY WOULDNT ANY OF OUR GIRLS MAKE THE CUT...BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AS LIGHT IN SKIN COLOR AS YOU OR I MAY BE,TOO THICK,NOT PRETTY ENOUGH???? Tiana has nothing to do with it. She ain't put nothin in nobody's head. I think you said that because that is the only person's name on the squad you know. And as far as the light skinned thing goes... maybe you haven't peeped the captain of this past year's squad,or one of the crabs last year, Jasmine, or Kiara Ely,all dark and equally as beautiful. And about being thick, baby I caught pure HELL my crab year for being thick on that squad, so did my crab sister. All that stuff you are naming is pure stereotypes. Its not the dolls fault that they look like they do. The picking at auditions is not up to the dolls.We tried out like everybody else. And no i'm not being cocky, just confident. There are a lot of dance teams that are good, ie. Jackson State, NC A&T, Alabama A&M, etc. But ain't nothing wrong with stating my opinion and that is that the dolls are the best. I never said anything about the Bubblin Brown Sugar until you replied. None of my comments were personally directed to that dance team or to any ONE team. You are the one who brought up the "flashback" from 2000. Of course you are going to think MBC is the best. You were on the squad. Ain't nothin wrong with that. Do your thang. But in my personal opinion, the dolls win it hands down. And there is nothing wrong with that either.
